About Us
Hempire Genetics is a Minnesota based company and is led by a PhD who specializes in cannabis molecular genetics and genomics. Hempire Genetics cultivars are created utilizing repeated inbreeding to reduce heterzygosity and lock-in specific traits before targeted outcrossing. We measure general and specific combining ability to make sure the crosses we release are elite high yielding and contain the traits of interest. We focus on yield, cannabinoid and terpene abundance. We ensure our cultivars receive field testing and common garden experiments to understand the efect of genotype by environment on our cultivars.

We produce high cannabinoid (CBD and CBG) hemp seed specifically for growers in northern climates. Our cultivars have also performed well in New Mexico, Wisconsin, and California.
